Games and story lines to watch this weekend in WPIAL and City League football

The Game & The Skinny

Penn Hills at Woodland Hills

7 p.m. today, Wolvarena
Just like last year, Penn Hills is coming on in the second half of the season. Woodland Hills, meanwhile, has been strong all season. Penn Hills won last year's game, 21-14, but Woodland Hills is a lot better this year.

Mars at Knoch

7:30 p.m. today, Knoch Stadium
Knoch started 0-5 but has won three in a row and now has a chance to win the Greater Allegheny Conference title. But it will be hard for Knoch to control Mars running back Austin Miele, who has 1,134 yards rushing.

Avonworth at North Catholic

7:30 p.m. today, Stone Field, North Park
The game is in North Park, but it will be no walk in the park for either team. The last time North Catholic won a conference title outright (1997), the Trojans' quarterback was Luke Ravenstahl, now Pittsburgh's mayor.
