The Indiana County Coroner's Office today identified a man killed yesterday afternoon in a crash in Brush Valley.
Coroner Michael Baker said 30 year-old Mark Martin of West Wheatfield was killed when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a parked van on Route 259 at about 12:13 p.m.
The impact pushed the van into the front of a residence. The van was unoccupied and no one was reported injured in the home. Mr. Martin died at the scene.
Two other occupants of the vehicle, including a child, were taken to Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown. They were not seriously injured.
