Woman dies in crash

A woman was killed and two other people were in critical condition yesterday after two pickup trucks crashed in Springfield, Fayette County.

Audrey Nicole Kingman, 25, of Mill Run, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, on Route 711 near Hawkins Hollow Road. State police said Ms. Kingman was traveling south on Route 711 when she crossed the center line and struck a northbound vehicle.

Ms. Kingman's passengers, Robert Kingman, 22, and Salissa Kingman, 8, were flown to West Virginia University Ruby Memorial Hospital with critical injuries, police said. The 8-year-old girl was being treated in the pediatric intensive care unit.

The driver of the other truck, Samuel A. Decara III, 48, of Connellsville, was taken to Highland Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. His passenger, Dawnetta Decara, 47, of Connellsville, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
