Cause of death issued for motorcycle crash victim

A 60-year-old McKees Rocks man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Saturday died of a compound fracture of the skull due to blunt force trauma to the head.

The cause of death was issued this afternoon by the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

Frank Feiertag Jr. had been riding a motorcycle on Brodhead Road in Moon when the accident occurred at 2:52 p.m. in the 1200 block. He was not wearing a helmet.
