CONCERTS

Beaver Falls -- Geneva College, 3200 College Ave., will host a performance by New Song, its traveling music ministry, at 7 p.m. next Thursday in the John H. White Chapel. For information, call 724-847-6577.

Green Tree -- Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road, will host a concert and ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Featured performer will be the Community Band South. For information, call 412-561-8851.

Oakdale -- The West Hills Symphonic Band returns to Oakdale tomorrow for a performance in its Old Fashioned Town Concert series. The free concert will begin at 7 p.m. in the town's municipal parking lot on Clinton Avenue. Selections will include pieces from "Oklahoma!" and "The Music Man" and movie, patriotic, ethnic and light classical musical. A selection will be played to honor police and volunteer firefighters. Veterans of the armed services also will be saluted.

LECTURES

South Fayette -- South Fayette Township Library, 515 Millers Run Road, will host The Carnegie's Forms & Formulas: Nature & Art, a program for children in grades two through eight, from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Registration is required. Call 412-257-8660.

LIBRARIES

Moon -- The children's department of the Moon Township Public Library, 1700 Beaver Grade Road, will sponsor a Science in the Summer camp Aug. 3 through 6 for students entering grades two through six. Coraopolis -- The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, 415 Chess St., will host its quarterly half-off sale on everything in the store from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday. Proceeds benefit the society's community programs. Call 412-264-2378.
