It was a dark and stormy night, but inside, the Carnegie Museum of Art was worlds away from Wednesday's storm. A preview reception for "Digital to Daguerreotype: Photographs of People," the first photography exhibition mounted by Linda Benedict-Jones, the new curator of photography, was held in honor of the Fellows and Associates of the museum. Both groups provide donor support for exhibitions, with the Fellows being the more established group and the Associates a younger crowd. The private reception was one of many events the two groups share throughout the year and included cocktails and a first glimpse at the exhibit, which will be up until Jan. 31.
