A Somerset County woman was struck and killed by a car yesterday in Jennerstown, state police said.
Annie Gindlesperger, 76, had been walking east on Route 30 near Locust Street in the borough when she was struck at about 2:51 p.m. by an eastbound SUV.
The driver, Robert Hantz, 28, of Pittsburgh, drifted off the roadway as he drove east on Route 30, police said.
Ms. Gindlesperger was pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed, pending further investigation, police said.
