A man from Moon was killed Sunday when his car crashed on the entrance ramp to Interstate 79 in Bridgeville, state police said.

Edward C. Kasten, 49, had been driving onto I-79 at 1:21 p.m. when his vehicle struck a guide rail on the driver's side.

The vehicle began to roll over, ejecting Mr. Kasten, before it came to rest in an upright position.

Medics pronounced Mr. Kasten dead at the scene.

He had not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
