A motorcyclist was killed yesterday when he crashed into a car as it pulled out of a driveway in Fayette County.

State police in Uniontown said that shortly before 4 p.m. Robert J. Wilker, 62, of Saltlick Township, stopped at the end of his driveway, then turned left heading west on County Line Road and collided with a motorcycle traveling east at a high rate of speed.

The motorcyclist, Donald B. Myers, 56, also of Saltlick, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was wearing a helmet.

Mr. Wilker was unhurt, according to state police.
