Retired Marine Corps Lt. Col. Oliver North, a Fox News correspondent and prominent figure in conservative circles, will speak Sept. 6-7 at Christ Church at Grove Farm, Ohio Township.

He will speak Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at "An Evening With Oliver North," for which there is a $10 admission charge. He will also speak Sept. 7 at the 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. church services.

His appearance is part of the independent church's commemoration of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

He is now a war correspondent and host of "War Stories" on the Fox News channel. His appearance here will follow a three-week tour of Afghanistan. His current book is "American Heroes -- In the Fight Against Radical Islam."
