Cranberry police have arrested a man who they say stole $3,590 worth of electronics in a string of vehicle break-ins in Cranberry and Seven Fields.

Christopher Marlin Main, 21, of Aliquippa, is charged with 10 counts of theft and one count of burglary for the break-ins, which happened between March 27 and April 9, according to police.

Police said Mr. Main stole radios, MP3 players, GPS systems, laptop computers and cash from the unlocked vehicles. In one case, police said, Mr. Main entered a Seven Fields home while a family was asleep.

Mr. Main was in the Butler County Jail on $10,000 bond yesterday.
