Motorists in Penn Hills are dealing with another construction project.

Milling and resurfacing work began yesterday on Leechburg Road (Route 2086) from Unity Trestle Road to New Texas Road.

The project began at 8 a.m. and was halted around 4 p.m. Today's work is to begin at 6 p.m. and continue until about 6 a.m. tomorrow.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane, alternating for motorists heading in either direction.

Norwin Construction Co. is doing the work as part of a $749,228 contract.
