A Jeannette man was sentenced to 13 months in prison yesterday for stealing guns from a Delmont store in January.
Justin Carroll was charged with smashing the front window of Delmont Sport Shop on Jan. 7 and stealing 23 guns, along with an antique firearm from a display case.
Murrysville police were able to connect shoes Mr. Carroll was wearing when they interviewed him to shoe prints left at the gun shop.
He pleaded guilty to one count of stealing firearms from a federally licensed dealer.
In addition to the prison term, Senior U.S. District Judge Gustave Diamond ordered Mr. Carroll to serve three years supervised release and pay nearly $2,000 in restitution.
