Bridgeville

• Levetta K. Sherrill, 38, of Monessen, was charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop.

• Howard Lee Kirkland, Jr., 34, of Bridgeville, was charged Aug. 6 with marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession after, police said, they confiscated 16 marijuana plants growing in his yard.

• Janice L. Gropelli, 48, of Bridgeville, was charged last Thursday with possession of marijuana after police discovered a marijuana plant growing in her yard, A male juvenile also from Alice Street also was charged with marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession in the same incident.

• Jason A. Cunningham, 22, of Bridgeville, was charged Aug. 10 with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia on Union Street.

Carnegie

• Sean Smith, 27, of South Fayette, was charged July 27 with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to stop for a red light at West Main and Cubbage streets.

• Monique R. Neely, 20, and William Jordan Jr., 25, both of Carnegie, were charged Aug. 4 with theft of a mountain bike from Ridge Avenue.

• Daphney Willis, 26, of Carnegie, was arrested Aug. 6 on a warrant charging her with criminal contempt for, police said, violating a protection from abuse order.

Collier

• Edward Dlugos, 57, of Collier, was charged Aug. 5 with public drunkenness and assault following a domestic incident on Shadypark Court.

• Early Aug. 8, a man who was walking in the RPM's rock club parking lot on Washington Pike reported he was struck from behind, rendering him unconscious, and robbed of $50 in cash.

• During the night of Aug. 7-8, vandals took two 8-foot step ladders and a set of line reels from the Sonic restaurant construction site at Chartiers Valley Shopping Center.

Crafton

• John Holzapfel, 43, of Ingram, was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and speeding on West Steuben Street.

A hydraulic hammer worth more than $9,000 was reported stolen Aug. 6 from the CVS construction site on Foster Avenue. The item weighs between 800 and 1,000 pounds.

McDonald

• Tiffany Brackman, 20, and Mathie Presley Jr., 24, both of McDonald, were charged Aug. 7 with possession of Ecstasy pills, paraphernalia and marijuana after police found drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash in their bedroom.

Among the items, officers found one baggie of suspected marijuana, a suspected Ecstasy pill in a clear plastic baggie, $40 in currency and one book of rolling papers.

Scott

• Theo Gianoutsos, 44, of Scott, was charged Aug. 7 with assault and harassment following a domestic incident in the 1100 block of Peachtree Road.

• Cindy Marie Tillar, 28, of Scott, was charged last Thursday with public drunkenness after police responded to an incident in the rear of the 400 block of Carothers Avenue.

• A motorcycle was reported stolen last Thursday from the rear of a residence in the 400 block of Center Street.


Correction/Clarification: (Published Aug. 15, 2008) Theo Gianoutsos, 44, of Scott, was charged Aug. 7 with assault and harassment following an incident in the 1100 block of Peachtree Road. An incorrect name of the suspect was reported yesterday in a Police Blotter item.
