INTERSTATES

I-70, Washington County -- Ten-mile resurfacing project under way between Kammerer Exit and I-79 South Junction. Lane restrictions, delays at times.

I-79, Greene County -- Resurfacing, related work at three locations, but single-lane restrictions have been lifted between Mileposts 7 and 8 where longwall mining damaged the highway.

I-376/Parkway East -- Only one inbound lane open from Monroeville to Edgewood-Swissvale interchange. Several ramps in area also closed. Restrictions to be lifted no later than 5 a.m. tomorrow.

STATE HIGHWAYS

Route 19, Marshall -- Single-lane traffic patterns weeknights for repairs on the Pennsylvania Turnpike overpass just south of Cranberry. Late September finish.

Business Route 22, Monroeville/Wilkins -- Off-peak repairs, resurfacing work through the business district. Delays on already congested highway.

Route 22, Westmoreland County -- Widening project east of New Alexandria continues. And lanes are closed in both directions between Hannastown Road, Murrysville, and Route 119, Salem, through mid-October for concrete repairs.

Route 28, Etna area -- Year-long project to improve outbound Route 28 from Etna to the Highland Park Bridge under way. Lane closures.

Route 30, Hempfield -- PennDOT paving 1.2 miles, repairing bridges between Route 136 to east of Route 119 interchange, also passing through parts of Greensburg, South Greensburg and Southwest Greensburg.

Route 40, Ohiopyle Road -- Minor delays, restrictions at Chalk Hill east of Uniontown, where PennDOT is upgrading intersection of the main road to Ohiopyle. Traffic signal being installed as part of $1.7 million project.

Route 130, Hempfield -- Outside lanes closed from Locust Street to railroad tunnel near Seton Hill College for $3.6 million rehabilitation.

Route 837, Homestead -- Alternating, single-lane traffic 7 p.m.-6 a.m. weekdays for resurfacing between Rankin Bridge and Neel Street. Work also taking place on nearby Whitaker Way in Munhall.

OTHER ROADS

Boulevard of the Allies, Oakland -- Closed outbound east of the Parkway East entrance for interchange reconstruction. Forbes Avenue down to a single lane into Oakland. Also, the boulevard inbound ramp to I-579 north closed this month for bridge deck repairs. Ramp leading to Liberty Bridge remains open.

Fifth Avenue, East Liberty -- Single lane 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays at railroad underpass between McPherson Boulevard and Kelly Street, part of $3.1 million project covering 1.2 miles of Fifth Avenue/Route 8 and Penn Avenue.

Mansfield Avenue, Green Tree -- Lane toward Carnegie closed from School Street to Holiday Drive through August while municipality installs curbs and sidewalks, Detour via Poplar Street and Nobletown Road.

Millerstown Road, West Deer -- Closed indefinitely to all but local traffic because of slide situation between Russeltown and Tarentum roads.

Noblestown Road, Collier -- Lane reductions through mid-October on bridge over Robinson Run, railroad tracks and Route 3117 (Dorrington Road) while piers, other repairs are made.

Racetrack Road, Meadowlands -- Johnson Road and Meadowlands Boulevard closed through Aug. 30 for casino-related construction.

Stanwix Street, Downtown -- Closed between Fort Duquesne Boulevard and Penn Avenue for light-rail tunneling work.

MAJOR BRIDGES

Birmingham Bridge -- One lane maintained in both directions on the southbound side while PennDOT replaces rocker bearings on the northbound side.

Canon-McMillan Bridge -- Unique bridge that crosses I-79 near Canonsburg is closed for $3.3 million rehabilitation.
