The 360 workers who have been locked out of their jobs at Latrobe Specialty Steel since May 9 will vote this weekend on a tentative agreement.

Negotiatiors for the company and United Steelworkers Local 1537 yesterday reached a tentative agreement in a dispute that began May 1 and was declared a lockout a week later when the company refused to let union members return to work.

The firm makes the steel used in the aerospace industry by Boeing and GE Aircraft Engines and metal for the U.S. Mint.
