A man was killed this morning when his riding mower rolled on top of him while he was mowing the grass on his Cranberry property, police said.
Roy Hurd, 62, had been riding his International lawn tractor at about 10:20 a.m. on a hillside at his property in the 200 block of Glen Rape Road when the rig tipped over.
Police and Butler County Deputy Coroner Dennis Trzeciak pronounced him dead at the scene at 11:45 a.m.
The death has been ruled an accident.
