Two people suffered minor injuries in a shooting yesterday in St. Clair Village.
A van from The Academy, a charter school for students on juvenile court probation, was dropping a student off near Mountain Avenue and Cresswell Street when someone fired three or four shots in the direction of the van, police said.
The 33-year-old male driver of the van, who drove about 10 blocks away from the scene before pulling over, suffered an abrasion on his outer thigh and a 17-year-old male passenger was treated for two lacerations on his upper right arm. Police did not know if the injuries were bullet wounds.
Anyone with information about the shooting should call Pittsburgh police Zone 3 at 412-488-8326.
