A 15-year-old girl was arrested yesterday and charged with starting Monday's fire at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, Downtown.
The girl, who is a student there, was captured on surveillance video igniting clothing racks on the second floor of the school at about 2:45 p.m.
About 600 students were evacuated and no injuries were reported. The school reopened Tuesday.
The girl, whose name was not released, faces five charges, including arson and risking a catastrophe. She was to be taken to Shuman Juvenile Detention Center.
