Questions of value
The Record Rama 'sale' and that Stones album
Friday, February 22, 2008

What a week it's been in the Record Rama saga. And it's not over yet.

We have the media reporting that it's been sold for just over $3 million and a bidder on eBay named "jopsoup" who might not be for real. In fact, he is no longer a registered user on eBay. The Record Rama folks are trying now to get in touch with him.

Meanwhile, owner Paul Mawhinney has been touting a compilation of Rolling Stones singles as one of the most valuable albums in his collection, claiming it to be worth $10,000.

It's worth a lot, but not that much.

You can buy one on eBay right now for $599, plus $6 shipping.

Here is the link.
